Theory of working hard not working
If everything goes well, people think that you are not working, even through you worked hard to get things working.
If you are working on documentation, people think that you are not really working.
If you are not doing documentation, people think that you are not working and not doing paper work.
If you spent whole day on site watching, but not working, people think that you are working.
If you spent whole day in office working really hard, people think that you are just sitting in the office and not working.
In summary, if you are working, people think that you are not working. If you are not working, people think that you are not working.
So we can have two conclusions:
1) you really stop working and agree with people thinking that you are not working, then you have good team-working
2) you stop caring what people think as long as you are not fired.

I love this post ^^ Base on my experience from all kind of jobs. You're right! ^^
Just do you best and not get fired! That's the main point, but you still want to keep good relationship with team members.
I love the 1st conclusion. Made me smile :)
